So, here's the laws and regulations part...

In keeping with Buncombe County law, you must be 21 or older, and show valid ID, regardless of age to enter the store.

EVERYONE MUST SHOW ID. We seriously cannot stress this enough.  We get it.  You're clearly of age, and getting your ID out from that little pocket in your wallet is so annoying because it sticks and wont let you slide it out and....  Bottom line: ITS THE LAW.  We have to see your ID and even if you're 80, if your ID is expired, by law we cannot let you in.  It sucks.  We know.  And while it may not make much sense, it is the law, and we will follow it.

Here are the forms of IDs we can accept:

U.S. State Issues Drivers License

N.C. State Issued Identification Card

U.S. Issued Passport

Here are the forms of IDs we cannot accept:

Foreign Issued IDs  (Drivers License or Passport)

 

Military IDs

 

State Identification Cards issued in any state other than NC.

Also, please understand that we cannot discuss any information concerning products or inventory over the phone.  This is because we have no way of verifying that:  (1) you're of legal age to enter the store and (2) that you have the proper ID required to enter the store.  Sorry.  We know that can be inconvenient for some, but unfortunately, that's just the way it is.
