FAQ

1. DO YOU HAVE A THEATER?

Yes, we have video booths available at both Fantasy World locations. It is not set up theater style, but instead there are separate booths where you can choose the movie you would like to view, individually. Please note, that in compliance with Buncombe County law, there are no doors on the booths.

2. IS THERE AN ENTRANCE FEE FOR THE VIDEO AREA?

Yes, there is a $5 entrance fee for the video arcade area at both store locations. The videos run on dollar bills and each dollar gives you approximately 7 minutes of a movie. Please Note: Your entrance fee is not an all-day pass. You may stay in the arcade and watch movies for as long as you like, however the minute you leave the store (OR step off the porch in Swannanoa), your entrance fee will expire and you will be asked to pay again if you wish to re-enter the arcade. Please do not loiter around the parking lot before or after you visit our arcade. You will be asked to leave if you are found to be loitering This is to ensure that all our customers feel welcome and comfortable.

3. WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE VIDEO BOOTHS?

The video booths open at the same time as the store and close 30 minutes before the store closes at both locations.

4. IF I AM CLEARLY OF AGE, DO I STILL NEED TO PRESENT ID?

Yes, Buncombe County law states that all persons wishing to enter an adult establishment MUST SHOW ID REGARDLESS OF AGE. Whether or not you are of age, if you do not have proper ID or if your ID is expired, you will not be allowed entry.

5. WHAT FORMS OF ID DO YOU ACCEPT?

6. DO YOU RENT MOVIES?

We do not rent movies at either location.

7. DO YOU BUY OLD MOVIES AND MAGAZINES FROM PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS?

No, we do not. Due to health codes, we do not buy anything from private individuals.

8. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

In keeping with health department regulations, we are not able to do returns on any items. As soon as they leave the store, they are yours to keep. We will ensure all items requiring batteries or a power source, are in working order before you buy them. Damaged DVDs can be exchanged for DVDs of equal value within 48 hours of the original purchase (you must present your return card, given at time of purchase, in order to exchange DVDs).

9. HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ENTER THE STORE?

You must be at least 21 years of age to enter either location, no exceptions.

10. CAN I PAY TO ENTER THE VIDEO AREA WITH A CREDIT CARD?

No, the entrance fee for the video area must be paid in cash only.

11. DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

We do (except for the video area entrance fee). Please note, the minimum for purchase with a credit/debit card is $5 and you must provide an ID and phone number for all credit/debit purchases. We will never call you or sell your information. We simply take this information to ensure that all charges go through properly and to protect you the customer, as well as ourselves.

12. DO YOU DO SPECIAL ORDERS?

We do not, however if you cannot find the specific product you are looking for, talk to one of our sales associates on location, and we will do our best to get that product in stock in the future.
